We were able to start the week with another celebration! The students were totally excited about celebrating the 100th day of school. We wrote about what we would do with $100 in the morning and rotated through centers in the afternoon. We made a special 100th day snack, exercised in 100 second intervals, completed a 100 piece puzzle, made 100th day of school crowns, and played a "race to 100" dice game. Check out the fun below!
I have never seen a happier group of students than the ones in Room E as they opened up their Valentine's cards from each other! This sappy teacher had tears in her eyes as she watched students oooh and ahhh at every sparkle, sticker, and tattoo. They were unbelievably thankful to their friends and anyone who walked in could tell that this was simply "THE BEST VALENTINE'S DAY EVER!" :) The pizza, strawberries, carrots, juice boxes, and homemade fudge were simply icing on the cake. What a wonderful group of students I get to enjoy this year! |
