We had so much fun this November learning about the Pilgrims and the Native Americans. We learned how Squanto helped the pilgrims survive and create relationships and also about all the struggles the pilgrims endured upon their voyage. In the spirit of working together and being thankful for what we have, our class cooked up a delicious pot of stone soup, and then enjoyed it feast style along with apple sauce, cider, pomegranate, and corn bread! YUM! Check out our pictures below!
A Halloween parade and Halloween centers... What more could a group of kindergarteners ask for? We had so much fun showing off our costumes, decorating sugar cookies, eating snacks, creating candy corn graphs, getting our faces painted, and playing a math game! Check out all of the fun we had!
We had a special guest in kindergarten on Monday morning! Boyne Area Medical's Dr. Mitchell came to visit and teach us all about bones. She brought along her friend Mr. Bones and some x-rays as well. After, we assembled our very own skeletons back in the classroom!
